TYRONE GA!
Shaq can be such a hoe

Shaq is way too sensitive man. That shyt makes no sense at all considering his stature. Can't take jokes, can't stand others getting shine except him, always in the camera, overdoes it way too much.

although Shaq won titles in LA...D-Scott, Brian Shaw, and Penny were his true friends and you can see they had fun playing and building together.

Shaq went to LA b/c he always wanted to be a multimedia STAR, but he never got any bigger than he was in Orlando, which he was already mega-star status. He had rap albums and movies while in Orlando. He didn't do much of that after he got to LA....plus he was clearly living the good life in LA b/c he wasn't in as good of shape out there.

To me, there was just more "magic" (no pun) to Shaq when he was in Orlando as opposed to LA.

I think that's why in hindsight he says he should've stayed.

In my opinion, it they wouldn't have been as effective as Kobe/Shaq. Shaq in Orlando wasn't the same as LA Shaq. Orlando Shaq didn't really have the soft touch, the jump hook and the other intangibles that he developed in LA. He was only a force that dunked on people. And Penny's drop was once they took the ball out of his hands as much, making him a 2. With his knees going to hell, he could've still been dominant as the PG, from the post. They turned him into just-another-player.
So he developed later on simply because he was in a Laker uniform, and the same development wouldn't have happened if he stayed in Orlando?:what:
And Penny's knee problems started with one specific play. He said he remembers the exact play he first hurt his knee going for a rebound and Joe Dumars ran into him. There's no reason to think that if Shaq had stayed that moment in time would have played out the exact same way, same exact score at that point, Penny standing in the exact same spot going for the exact same rebound. It's the butterfly effect

Nick Anderson is interesting. Bomani Jones had a great tweet about him.

He was best friends with Benji Wilson. Wore #25 to honor him. That death didnt wreck his career but the free throws did.

Horace said he still thinks about that game from time to time. They couldn't recover... I really believe that if Nick makes one of those free throws the Magic win game 1, win the series and Shaq reups with the Magic.

To assume the MAgic win just based on those FT's is premature. They gave up a HUGE lead.

I remember watching that game, rooting for the Rockets and just feeling hopeless until the 4th quarter. Magic just looked more energetic, more talent, just better. Regardless of those FT's, the Rockets knew they could play with the Magic after they stormed back like that.

Maybe it goes 6, but Houston still wins. The bench was just too much.

I highly doubt that.

Even if the Magic win game one, I still don't see them beating The Rockets.
The Rockets were a far more experienced team than the Magic.

Shaq wasn't better than Hakeem
Horry was far too clutch
Nobody was checking Clyde
Sam Cassell was a pivotal bench player, floor general
