I'm not a LeBron basher in the slightest. But I have a journalism background and I find it abhorrent how the media picks and chooses when circumstances matter and when they don't concerning how they judge a player. It's a team game when a player they like is at a disadvantage, yet if that player wins the team aspect goes out of the window and said player is hailed as this incredible winner that did it all by themselves. Yet when a player that isn't in their favor loses because of inadequate support they're labeled losers independent of the fact that they had a shytty team surrounding them.

What about when they were mocking the competition Jordan faced in the finals? We've seen Lebron face better with worse and make it interesting before when he was in Cleveland.

This new Bron who is a mature leader,and unafraid has a chance to pull this off I would say...Steph Curry and other nikkas who have never been to a finals really are the boogey man now

I didn't think Cavs would win but lets not let Lebron off the hook before seeing how this shyt plays out and how other players step up...What if the games continue to be close because other guys step up,is Lebron still off the hook?Doesnt sound like something we should be doing yet for a player who is constantly credited with making teammates better

And I'm not writing anything off cause it's not over until someone wins 4 games. And making team mates better =/= team mates never having bad games. Making players better means you help get them better looks and make the game easier for them. It doesn't mean you're gonna make them shoot 100% from the floor and especially in the finals.

That's a message board/Lebron hater narrative. Once Bron won his first title, the onus was set for the media to start the MJ comparisons. Wade, Bosh and shooters stopped being integral parts to winning basketball and became afterthoughts to Lebron's greatness. If the Cavs lose, he'll have lost twice the number of Finals than he's won. I ,personally, will not hold that against him. But if if the media decided to have some semblance of consistency they would label him a loser. Again, this is a statement about the media, not Bron.

Just how it is. The media also makes it seems like MJ, Magic Bird even Tobe played 1 vs 15 and won. But how many times do you hear the media or the average fan mention the people they played with? Not often. How many times do you hear who's played with Bron. More often than not.
