Who on earth that deals with sports, not recognize 1 of the most iconic jerseys in all of American sports. The greatest of all time in his position on a team that won 3 nfl championships in the 1950s, quarterbacked by the great Goatty Lane .... send her to cover cornhole or something lol

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
She was 10 years old when Barry Sanders retired. 25 years ago. Regardless of how great Barry was, you can't expect everyone to stan athletes to where you know who everyone athlete is all the time.

And Druski was 4 years old when Barry Sanders retired so he never saw him play.

She’s a journalist bruh. No excuses. These people travel to games and shyt and sometimes have to talk to legends in the game. You can’t get a pass for not knowing one of the most iconic people in sports when you cover sports. Like I was a kid when Montana was doing it and I know what a Joe Montana jersey looks like lol.

He never saw him play and yet still is wearing his jersey & knows who it is, which means he did some mild research at the very least, and he's not even a sports analyst 😅.

And no matter what, you can see clearly it's not a Browns jersey whether you know who it is or not 💀

If you've never met or seen a player play, it's irrelevant. Plenty of iconic players from the 70's and 80's that a lot of people wouldn't know. That's just the reality of it. You can't expect people in the 20's and 30's to know about players who played before they were born or when they were toddlers. And sports journalist isn't required to be a walking sports almanac.

Shannon Sharpe though Dillan Gabriel played at Oregon in 2023 vs Colorado.. That was only 2 years ago. She covers mostly basketball. Which is the problem. These sports outlets expect people to speak on every sports topic which is impossible.

When throwback jerseys were a thing, everyone who rocked them didn't know who the players were. They did it for fashion.

By that logic, BMW was part of Nazi Germany, yet people drive their cars all the time.

I was 10 when Barry Bonds broke the HR record, one of my core childhood memories :yeshrug:
