I don't think she gets paid to know past NFL players who retired 25 years ago. Analysts slip up all the time. Sports announcers have screwed up. It's not that serious. The fact that random "social media influencers" are being integrated into sports shows is more egregious. ESPN been trash. It's more entertainment than sports. And drama filled narrative driven.

Naw man, we ain’t talking about not knowing who Keith Brooking is. We talking about someone who is arguably the greatest player ever at that position. How would it look if they had an analyst up there to discuss the WNBA who didn’t know who Sue Bird or Lisa Leslie were? Man there would be think pieces out the ass written about that shyt.


But let’s take a step even further back from that. She doesn’t even recognize that the player she is attempting to reference, Shadeur, plays for the Cleveland Browns who outside of the damn Cincinnati Reds have the easiest color scheme to guess in pro sports.

There should be basic standards being upheld here and clearly they are failing.
