I know y'all fukk with Bomani b/c he's the homie but do y'all really enjoy hearing him on the radio by himself for hours at a time? Serious question
I like him most of the time. Every now and then though he gets his Hermoine Granger know it all act on where its annoying but outside of that I like him.

His voice would be a little grating after a while. People shyt on Colin but he was the only one who could host a 3 hour show daily by himself and make it entertaining. People so quick to write him off and call him a racist for the Dougie/Wall shyt but IMO that shyt was dumb but it coming from a white man just made it sound worse and the message is lost b/c people get sensitive. I doubt a lot of people on here really listened to what he says and automatically go to him being a racist. Like I said he always backs up his opinion with research and I didnt agree with it all the time but the mere fact that he brought in stats and articles to back it up made me at least respect him. He talks frank and pulls no punches some people like it others dont. He was the last of the old regime and I knew after Simmons left he was fed up with ESPN. shyt real talk LeBatard might be next.

;

I usually don't listen to the entire show, about 45 mins-1 hour

Tonight he got his homeboy from Raleigh on there and the first 2 segments have been great :laugh:
Yeah when he was talking about Hogan taking L's and the old black wrestler stereotypes that I remember

Regarding the Wall stuff I didn't think it was racist but is/was annoying. Dude brought that shyt up anytime and I mean anytime Wall was mentioned.

Yea that's why I fukked with Colin too. I've heard Bomani and I think he needs more time to find his voice and his audience and how to be an entertaining host. He's not there yet, not to say he can't be, but I can't listen to him for 30 mins uninterrupted let alone 3 hours. They gotta find somebody with appeal and who can above all else entertain people for hours on end, Bomani ain't there yet

He only brought it up b/c people made such a big deal out of it and they would keep emailing him. He kept bringing it up to irritate people even more. I get that Wall was happy and it was his first NBA game but that was some goofy clown shyt to pull especially if you the face of the team and aint won shyt yet which is what he was trying to say but like I said the way he said it and kept stressing "THE DOUGIE" made it sound like he was poking fun at black culture. I understood where he was coming from though but most people resorted to the good ol he's racist excuse instead of hearing what he's actually saying.

Yeah I heard what he said too without it being racist but also on top of that he still should have let that go IMO. Also the difference in age where he can find that one way and others esp younger don't. That's my only problem but I agree when we go cross racial its hard for people to keep things in context. With the history in this country its kinda hard for most so I understand that too even if I try to be logical instead of emotional esp on things that's not about my family/friends

People looking at this backwards...

ESPN letting him go and letting other espn personalities go at him on his way out...

So what do you think is going to be fresh on the minds of anyone who is going to hire him next?

Any company that touches him ESPN gets to tout the "well we get rid of guys like that I guess fox sports doesn't have a problem hiring a guy who says racist things about people"

Wherever he goes his entire first show is going to be about this comment...

Nah. I doubt people will even remember what he left the company for a month from now. He'll be able to bounce back relatively quickly IMO
