On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
:mjcry:

I remember when he was coaching the Knicks, he had the almost, “Jew ‘Fro”, and drank Coke during games, I thought he was a light skinned breh. Then he began announcing games, and the way he broke Don the game within the game is really unmatched.

Having his mind at the age of 91 is amazing. Still sharp and ahead of the the curve. Should let him call home games only, but we can’t be selfish. There was only 2 Hubies in NYC during the 80’s, Hubie Brown and Hubie Brooks.

Now pay attention to what he just did here, ok. He gives a goodbye speech but he also still analyzes the game for Mike Breen. Here, watch this: he talks about weak side/strong side in the same breath that he's mentioning his family, ok, and on top of that he compliments us, the viewers, on our intelligence. I'll tell ya, the guy put in the work and that's why it paid off for him.

I'll miss Hubie. Missed the interview with Dog, I hadn't known that he had lost his wife and daughter as well :to: He mentioned he had some health issues going on. I really hope it doesn't turn into a Bear Bryant situation, especially with him grieving the loss of his closer family members.

:salute: to :hubie:

He’s been my favourite basketball commentator since I’ve been old enough to acknowldge them. He always found a way to turn commentating on the game into teaching us as viewers. Didn’t realize he‘s had so much loss in the last couple years so I’m glad he’s able to retire with his faculties still in tact.
