Being a big market isn't a matter of opinion, either you are or you aren't :russ:

What yall are talking about as it relates to the NBA are glamor markets or desirable cities :russ:

The NBA and Adam Silver needs to step in and stop this... it hurts the NBA brand. You don't see the NFL downplaying small market teams like Green Bay... or get mad when teams like Kansas city have success. ESPN getting outta pocket.
Yeah agreed. That was unprofessional and unnecessary.

That's rare and RECENT... For most of history, it was florida, cali, NO, Texas... It wasn't until 1992 that they went outside those to put it in MN... They added ATL to the big 4, and never went outside those 5 again until 2006... From 2006 to 2024, they go outside of the big five, 5 times total....

NFL might entertain a shytty city once in a decade, but they know where their bread is buttered

Yeah, but the funny thing is let the Pelicans host a Finals and the NBA media would clamor how we're a small market and they wish LA or GS had won it.

Whereas New Orleans is the co-king of Super Bowls.

It's a glaring problem the NBA has that they need to fix. It doesn't help superstars in the NBA only want to play in the big cities whereas it matters little in the NFL.

As for this specific topic, how the hell is Phoenix considered a "terrible city"? LMAO. Phoenix is a thriving city. Good lord some of these media doofs aren't even hiding it anymore. Then these motherfukkas are stationed in Connecticut with the nerve to talk down on other cities.

You would think at some point Silver would step in and say something to ESPN seeing as all it does is fuel the narrative about the bias against small market teams. Too bytchmade to do anything about it though as they view any NBA talk as eyes being on their product whether it's positive or negative.

No way would Goodell and the NFL allow some of the talk and slander about their product and teams that ESPN does about the NBA.

Never been to Phoenix. Milwaukee is pretty bland but the lakefront is great. Not much else.

To escape the dangers of Chicago, Milwaukee isn't a bad spot for families. It's pretty quiet and laid back from the places I've managed to go to.

these people make great money and have the ability to visit/vacation in attractive cities whenever they want to. it won't kill you to spend a few days in Milwaukee, especially since its not even cold there now.
Exactly.. SAS talking like he's broke and can only see LA, Miami, or ATL if a playoff series switches to one of those cities but yet he makes like $3-5 million a year. These dudes is comical. The way they be talkin' you'd think they were part of the skinny jeans-money to the ear-hot girl crowd and have club walkthroughs, appearances, features in the studio, and performances lined up in said places. They better go sit down somewhere and take a nap.

Nah most of this is because they predominately use a warm weather city since the Superbowl is in February. You could place the Superbowl in any cities if it too place in the spring or summer
