My biggest problem with ESPN is the EAST COAST BIAS THEY HAVE..
I have no problem with east coast teams whatsoever, but at least give other places it's due.. case in point the San Francisco giants won the world series and not 1 damn time did first take talk about it... espn gave it it's normal couple of hours after the game was over, but nothing compared to the new york yankees or boston red sox coverage they give if they win.. and it was the giants 2nd title in 3 years..
Then Hockey.. the L.A. Kings and 8th seed wins the stanley cup and barley any coverage but let that been boston or n.y. it's the greatest sports story in history..
only west coast they cover is the bad azz lakers...
then nfl comes around it's tom brady this, new england this, new england that, and the jets get more coverage than the giants... hell pats haven't won in 9 years and the jets are the worst franchise in the nfl...
only time i watch espn is pardon the interuption or around the horn..
NBA- Lakers,Heat,Knicks
MLB- Yankees,Red Sox,Phillies
NFL- Cowboys,Jets,Patriots
NHL- Penguins (they have to cover Chi because of streak right now)
CFB- SEC,USC,ND
CBB- Duke,UNC,UK,Big East
Boxing- Nothing worthwhile only when Mayweather or Pac fight
MMA- half hearted coverage mad because Fox got all the rights
Soccer- Manchester United,Man City,Messi and Ronaldo highlights every once in a while.
Your right about the SF Giants getting no love at all and they won 2 in 3 fukking years. If the Phillies or Red Sox won they would have 20 minute clip asking if they were a dynasty.
Ravens only got some love because of Ray Lewis retiring but it still don't compare to the love affair they have with those sorry ass Jets and scrubs like Tim Tebow who gets more undeserved airtime than any athlete today.
fukk Sportscenter and ESPN!!! I watch 5 minutes and flip the channel during the afternoon they bring nothing to the table when it comes to teams I follow. Even the CFB coverage has falling off bad the past 5 years. I don't wanna see scripted debates between Lou Holtz and Mark May and a bunch of schilling for ND,USC and the SEC.
