You're looking at a point guard in Calderon who had the best assist to turnover ratio in the league last year, while shooting an amazing 46% from 3 (better than Curry). Don't look at the status, just believe me. Add that with the always elusive, transition nightmare, any shot I want covering me 1 on 1 (let's not factor in how much Dirk is gonna help in this equation), Monte Ellis. That back court is looking pretty solid

Calderon is a decent point guard but he can't defend. And he's always been a good shooter but he's not Steph and he never will be. Monta may be more talented than Klay but that talent has never really equated team success and he's a weird fit for most teams. That Dallas backcourt will be ok (mediocre defensively) but it's not better than Golden State's .

If you read the article, he doesn't factor Iggy at all since he feels he's primarily a SF.

The only thing in question should be your assessment of his formula, not the results and subsequent ranking of it.

Even just counting there two starters they are better than the 12th best backcourt in the league.

It's a baseball stat that the guy turned into a basketball stat that says Eric Bledsoe was a top 10 point guard in the league last year & should be an All Star in the next couple seasons.
