Rondo's never gonna get into the top 10 until he fixes his mid-range jumper.

Rondo lead his team further than any than DWill and CP3 because his team has more talent. Plus Celtics ran into the 8 seeded Sixers in the second round while CP3 had to deal with the vaunted Spurs.

I can't wait until the Kevin Love hate really heats up when his name comes up on the list. If he goes above Rose the Coli might have to shut down.

The fact that he's in that range is cool yet puzzling. It's done for two reasons.

1. he's a statistical marvel.

2. he's next (and by next I mean the next guy the press will be championing in order to get him outta Minny. They'll have to wait a while.)

I still don't know how to react really to him being on that high of a level yet. He'll have 6 weeks to prove it I guess.

Rondo is the best Pure PG in the league. I'm pretty sure he lead all PG's in rebounds and assists. He had that double digit assist streak and lead all players in triple doubles. When he wants to score, he can....and that's with his lack of a jumpshot.

Also he's a solid defender and a far better leader than all other PG's. You can hear him talking through the TV basically the whole game. Only Chris Paul is debatable. But Rondo does so many little things on the court I don't think people realize it.

Plus Rondo lead his team further this year than any of these other PG's above him.

Russel Westbrook is not a pure PG. He's a top ten player though.

face it, up it till not long ago, rondo was just along for the ride with the big three, all this exaggerating shyt is pathetic and far from reality. rondo didn't lead shyt. garnett was just a much of a factor in the past playoff series(s) as rondo was, arguably more of a factor.

Only reason I might consider taking Aldridge over Pau is because he's younger, has a better contract, and is more athletic. Pau is just better and a more complete player.

garnett anchored that defense in the post season (just as valuable as orchestrating the offense), led the team in points per game, led in rebounds per game, led in blocks per game... and was clutch in a number of games in the post season as well... just as an integral part to the team as rondo, and arguably more important..

and there's no such things as a pure point guard, certainly not today, that term is just a mask for a player's flaws/inabilities.

its not bullshyt, we've seen westbrook pick up the slack when durant is struggling, but that doesn't mean teams switch off from his ability to turn it on again or treat him like he's below his ability (he's still on the court). rose doesn't have a security blanket like that. durants treated like more of a threat than any of rose's teammates at any given time. and thats certainly not to say westbrook isn't able to carry a team by himself at all.

everything goes through rose so its easier to shut it down, whereas not everything on the thunder goes through westbrook.

miami game planning just for rose was evidence of this.
