You lookings at parts of of whole as opposed to whole of a parts. How many top 5 players at a position did the Mavs squad had when they hoisted the trophy. The just had a lot of parts that that complimented each other very well. Does the makeup of that squad substantially trump this grizzlies squad?

Mavs didn't win based on their overall talent, they got through on experience, outside shooting and Dirk. You're saying Memphis has the talent to win a 'ship when you know very damn well, the success they had was purely around their grit/grind/defense, not their talent. Show me exactly where they have talent on this squad to win a ship?

I thnk I meant in my initial post they have the personnel, coaching, and philosophy to win. Basically currently constructed and how they play together, they are championship contenders . I don't think they will but I don't doubt that they're highly capable of winning a trophy via the postseason. No they're not more talent than the clips or heat but they enough talent, and more importantly a good team strategy and gameplan that they execute that can propel them to a successful finals appearance.
