He took a bullet for the Pats with Spygate and now when he's actually trying to punish him he got Kraft talking about he lost faith in the league. I agree with you man, I think my hot take was originally misunderstood which is why I feel the need to clarify (even tho we still disagree lol but there's nothing wrong with that either).

I know there is a big difference between watching film and stealing a game plan/playbook. I just disagree with you guys on how much of a factor that information was to those wins.

I'm not being a smart ass. This is a serious question. Have you ever played football before? I played defense and the key to playing defense is how fast you can process information and react. On any given play I'd have to remember play call tendencies from film then cross reference that with down and distance, hash, RB depth, splits, lineman being light/heavy, time left in the quarter, real time play call tendencies, and sometimes even weather while processing the defense that was just called from the sidelines as well as checking signals with teammates ALLLLLL before the ball snaps. There was once that we actually knew a team's signal because they were too stupid/lazy to change them. They didn't do shyt against us. The hard part about defense is that you're reactionary. Knowing the plays removes the hard part of defense and since football is inherently tilted towards the offense it's an even bigger advantage for the Pats offense to know another team's D. Knowing where your opponent will be makes execution a lot easier. Any person that's ever played football can confirm this. I'm curious why you don't think it's that big of a factor.

Roger's a company man and he's gonna take his beating then leave. He won't be forced out by anyone because the owners need a scapegoat.
