No Michael Ray Richardson? SLAM had a huge story on his career .

Roy Tarpley :snoop:

Complex got a good list here but it's more based on abusing drugs and alcohol.

Surprised people arent talking about Andrew Wiggins dad Mitchell's drug abuse . Even basketball cards mentioned it :wow:

Bias died tho...this list seems to be people that got a chance to show their potential but never did, whether it was injury related or they were just a bust.
both those guys died. the list says unfulfilled potential. dying while being one of the top players in both cases is more unfulfilling than a guy who just turned out to be shytty since we saw him get a chance, or more than one chance in some cases

I didn't know getting drafted was your criteria. I was thinking expectations we are talking about in here were to get drafted with the thought of being special once so. He was never viewed as that even prior to the blood cots.

Stop it

No.

I think Tommie Frazier should be listed here.

An NBA #1 pick is much more of a sureshot productive pro than a NFL #1 pick. And Oden was a wildly talented 7 footer. So talented he was drafted ahead of Kevin Durant. So I'm guessing that is why he's so high on this list.

You: lots expectations were out there about Tommie Frazier before those blood clots

Me: what was he expected to play

you: something

Me: :bryan:

You know that isn't you, because you don't ask question the first...you assume what other people are thinking...

- ...like this post here were you allege I said "lots" expectations.
- ...and the post before that where you assume my "criteria" was just the draft, which I didn't say.
-...and before that where you thought I was coming on some black chit.

Anyway, I think Tommie Frazier is a good look for this list.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
A lot of you are really showing your lack of sports acumen. Either that or you're just trying to post something to be different.

Most of the people on that list had great expectations and were never really able to fulfill their potential.

And the criteria being they never got a chance to show anything. You can't include penny hardaway or tmac because they actually were all stars. That's probably why they didn't list Bill Walton :mjpls:

Bo Jackson actually deserves to be on the list because we never got to see him play a full season of football. And that hip prevented him from having a long baseball career as well.

And as with any list it's the be all to end all.
