An NBA #1 pick is much more of a sureshot productive pro than a NFL #1 pick. And Oden was a wildly talented 7 footer. So talented he was drafted ahead of Kevin Durant. So I'm guessing that is why he's so high on this list.

Most of the people on that list had great expectations and were never really able to fulfill their potential.

And the criteria being they never got a chance to show anything. You can't include penny hardaway or tmac because they actually were all stars. That's probably why they didn't list Bill Walton

Bo Jackson actually deserves to be on the list because we never got to see him play a full season of football. And that hip prevented him from having a long baseball career as well.
