The most interesting thing was him saying out loud the agencies run the NBA, it explains why certain teams truly never have a shot at winning and if those fans knew this they'd stop watching which is why Silver and whoever comes after him has to keep the charade going.

I kinda agree, but, our best two players are 21 and 23.

All that rushing just to make the playoffs is what the last two season brought us.

History says that he's going to take the extension and not turn it down as no other player has before. He'd literally be taking the one year gamble and hoping that he could stay healthy in order to get the bag after the season is over. He could also hit the potential supermax as well depending on how he performs, so we're talking about $200 million dollars. You aren't turning down the money that early into his career especially with all of the injuries that have been happening over the past couple of years.

The smarter play would be to take the extension and then force your way out, so you have the guaranteed money just in case.

He doesn't. He doesn't wanna lose the Bird rights that can give him more years and more money tacked onto his deal though. That's why players in general doesn't even like going to free agency unless the team they want already has the cap space to bring them in.


The key now is to re-up for everything your own team can give you and then pull hoe tactics to get to your next destination. Even the opt outs don't scare teams as much as they used to. Look at Kawhi. He opted out only for him to have his ACL torn and the market dry up completely. If he could do it again, he'd just opt in.

And I can't blame them for feeling that way being a Nets fan, everyone would've put money on this happening to the Knicks before us. But if/when it happens its dope as fukk. But I know if the team wasn't in NY we'd be looking at a completely different roster

Even with that look at the laundry list of things the Nets have to do to keep their players happy, hundreds of millions in salary on top of paying their rent, rent for their concubines, prolly have to buy houses for these bytches dogs too. People took that story and ran with it because they don't like KD/Kyrie/Harden so they don't like the Nets, the mistake was thinking it's any different for other teams.

More than likely your team (not you specifically) is paying the same price or more for a similar or less talented team, that's what it is at this point. And that's what happens when one player can mean the difference between lottery and a title. There isn't another sport similar in that way.

They made some really good moves to guarantee a playoff seed. You got shooters everywhere, athletes, big bodies, defensive minded dudes, ect.

Zion has a team around him that can make him have the most dominant scoring year since some young Mike or Prime Shaq shyt. I absolutely expect dude to be at or over 30ppg this year with all this space.

They have zero conference championship chance if they can't get a Lillard or Beal though
