LMAO nah it didn't go over my head, it just doesn't apply to this situation. Song was ok. But it had a several questionable lines in it that to this day haven't been addressed. But I get it. Jay was top dog at the time and it's a more interesting story if we say Nas bodied him. So takeover don't have questionable lines too? It's a part of being battle savy to exagerate the truth and bend things to your advantage. I never understood the argument about ether is a better diss and takeover is a better song. To me that's nonsense. You can't separate the diss element to the rest of the song. If the diss was effective that's all that matter, regardless of the beat. If the beat was a real factor people would not have gravitated around the song like that.
