Because no one expected Nas to come back after takeover especially that hard.. I didnt expect it myself as a nas fan. I really thought it was over for him.

i found it hilarious that jay basically sat there on air and cried. never really cared for the diss myself. i actually had to look up the lyrics to refresh my brain, and the third verse was the icing on the cake. first 2 weren't really that impressive. i liked that "1 hot album every ten year average" more than anything nas said.
