"Takeover" did not break down Nas's career. All "Takeover" did was re-iterate what disgruntled Nas fans had been saying since It Was Written.

Another thing is that when people say "Takeover" >>>> "Ether" production wise without explaining how. Production wise, "Takeover" is nothing more than Jay freestyling over The Doors original track. It's dope, but it's not exactly the opus of a composition that it's made out to be. "Ether" is also dope production wise, but it's not exactly a GOAT production in Hip Hop either. Both are potent.
