When was the last time a big name European startup IPO’d on a European exchange? When I worked in finance, first year associates were making more than European EDs/SVPs in the same business unit. They get to drive their tiny clown cars and wait six months to see a doctor and call it winning.


Also: the USA has more diversity in flora and fauna than any European nation. Where’s the European Yellowstone, Yosemite, the Everglades, Zion?

I basically say that because their accent is pretty distinct, and growing up in the state traveling it well I just anecdotally have never felt their presence much if ever, I hear them a lot more now, away from the typical Disney metro areas

Higher highs and lower lows in the US.

Higher floor in Western Europe but lower ceiling.

Really depends on who you are and what you want out of life.

For certain professions and industries nothing beats the US, full stop. If you have the drive, grit and a bit of luck, you can really achieve a lot for yourself in the US.

Europe is better QOL and SOL for the middle class vs the US, however.

Personally, I’m USA > Europe as a breh
