Funny how WWE wants their wrestlers to work exclusively for them 250-300 days a year, but they don't want to hire them as normal employees. They hire them as independent contractors in order to escape having to pay them health benefits, retirement, etc.

Now if a wrestler is doing hard drugs that's one thing, but in most cases it's some sort of pain pill or minor drug that causes the failed test. In these cases you can't expect wrestlers to basically get into minor car accidents with their bodies in the ring 4-5 times a week and not take any type of pain medication.

The very least WWE could do in cases like that is release the type of drug that caused the failed test instead of dragging that wrestler's name through the mud with everyone assuming the worst.
Because WWE isnt interested in having a legit testing or wellness program, they just want the appearance of one so they can tell everyone "See, we're modern like real sporting leagues! We care about the health and well-being of our athletes!" But we've seen many examples over the years that show that, like everything else, they've just twisted the wellness policy to be used as another tool for control, publicity and carrying out their various petty grudges.

The banned substance that triggered a WWE wellness policy violation for Eva Marie is Adderall, but we're told Eva is adamant she had a prescription, and will appeal the punishment.

As we previously reported, Marie was hit with a 30 day suspension this week for allegedly violating the policy -- which covers everything from substance abuse to annual physicals and cardiovascular health.

Our WWE sources tell us ... all performers are REQUIRED to disclose all medication to WWE officials for company approval.

We're told in Eva's case ... the WWE claims the medication was NOT properly approved, thus the violation.

Sources connected to Eva say she claims she has a legit prescription from her doctor.

We reached out to Eva, and she said ... “I am disappointed that this suspension has occurred, yet understand and respect that WWE upholds their Wellness Policy to the letter and won't compromise on its integrity."

She added, "I violated policy by not turning in portions of required paperwork in the time frame WWE Medical deemed timely. I look forward to my return!”

Prescription? :duck:

They make me sick. The best thing they could do for these guys would be to cap the amount of matches they can have per year. I remember reading that Naomi had like 140 matches last year, Dean even moreso, that's insane....:mindblown:

I hope that the brand split at least resulted in an extra day off.

Great appetite suppressant. Also help with focus and concentration.
But it can make non-ADHD people jittery if they take it.

It's the new painkiller, steroid, and cocaine.:ahh:
Next thing you know it, they are going to make these doctors tighten up on prescribing it. It sucks for the people who actually need it though. I know a lot of college students abuse it. I didn't know it was probably in entertainment.

Because it's a controlled substance, you have to see your doctor every month for a 30 day supply. So.... Eva is probably lying about have a legit script.
