I proposed trading Hilton, Gore & Wallace and receiving Dez in return in my ESPN NFL Fantasy league. I think I came out a winner in this trade BUT I'm always open to feedback from my Coli brethren.

For context:
*12-team league; snake draft; $10/player
*My team RIGHT NOW consists of:
starting lineup:
Matt Ryan (QB)
Eddie Lacy (RB1)
Matt Forte (RB2)
Julio Jones (WR1)
TY Hilton (WR2)
Greg Olsen (TE1)
Frank Gore (RB3/flex)
Bills (defense)
Cody Parkey (K)

bench:
Andre Johnson (WR3)
Mike Wallace (WR4)
Jordan Cameron (TE2)
Alfred Blue (RB4)
Bishop Sankey (RB5)
Anquan Boldin (WR4)
Philip Rivers (QB2)

My team when the trade once the trade is processed:
starting lineup:
Matt Ryan (QB)
Eddie Lacy (RB1)
Matt Forte (RB2)
Dez Bryant (WR1)
Julio Jones (WR2)
Greg Olsen (TE1)
Andre Johnson (WR3/Flex)
Bills D (Defense)
Cody Parkey (K)

bench:
Jordan Cameron (TE2)
Alfred Blue (RB3)
Bishop Sankey (RB4)
Anquan Boldin (WR4)
Philip Rivers (QB2)

Although I gave up a lot for Dez (and possibly weakened my bench), I believe I still came out a winner because my starting line-up is clearly loaded. Moreover, the trade leaves me with space to add another defense to my team and a weekly waiver wire addition.

What do y'all think? Did I win or lose?

To me that's an L. Your team is already good, no need to give up 450 points for 230.

Yeah but Frank Gore's a huge question mark in that new Indy offense. And he's old. There's no guarantee he'll perform to the predictions set for him. Mike Wallace is also a great deep threat receiver BUT he has stretches in the season where he disappears. He's not a difference maker. And Dez > TY all day.

But, on the flip side, if Gore and Wallace both have good seasons...:jiggayikes:
