Secretely people like @WickedGames and other bytch made negro fans of Drake love him cause they wish they were purty and light skinded and could get white women as easy as him and other non-black women cause they hate their blackness.

Funniest post I've read on here in a minute *daps*
No way some of you are normally functioning social humans outside![]()
You really wasted all that time writing why DRAKE (a pop singer / dude that sometimes raps) isn't GOAT worthy?!
Why even entertain the idea?
What would Drake be the greatest of is a good fukking question lol
It's pretty simple to me. From a rap artist perspective Drake doesn't do anything noteworthy outside of make hit records*. He's not a noteworthy lyricist, he's not a good storyteller at all, his introspective lyricism is decent, his word play is not impressive, he doesn't have a classic album, his flow has been stagnant ever since he bit Big Sean's, etc.
Nas is a master of introspective lyricism and a premier storyteller. Hov has the most versatile flow. Pac was a great songwriter and while he wasn't the best lyricist he maintained an impressive level of poetic flare. Biggie mastered multiple rap styles, was a premier storyteller, and had an impeccable flow. Where does Drake fit in that conversation? If you include newer artists, Kendrick is clearly a master at introspective lyricism and a premier storyteller. Freddie Gibbs has the most versatile flow today. What does Drake do great, in this context? Nothing.
*even his hit making feels suspect when you consider how he acquires songs from other people, then has other people write for him.
For the simple fact that he is missing one of the key ingredients that make rap greats what they are: the ability to straddle the mainstream and still connect with the struggle/streets.
I feel like no matter how gifted you are technically, your subject matter and hence your art will always be limited unless you have faced some adversity. This is why we shouldn't be surprised that Drake's catalogue is an anthology of simp anthems. What the fukk else can he talk about? Growing up in Forest Hill? His time in Degrassi? Even cacs don't want to hear that shyt. They want reports live from the hood. Black people want shyt they can relate to and someone telling their story.
Jay Z can drop (Always Be My) Sunshine and then tell us how it is in Marcy on Where I'm From. Ghostface can tell us about picking roaches out of cereal boxes and everyone will be like ''That's real as fukk''
Biggie can drop songs with R Kelly but still heat up the streets with the 10 Crack Commandments.
Tupac did the same thing. In fact I can't think of many universal Top 10 candidates that break this mould of straddling the two different spheres.
Eminem faced this problem his whole career even though he came up battling and paying his dues. He had mad talent but subject matter was limited to killing his mother and raping his wife. It's only so many verses of that we can listen to.
I think Drake realises this also. His attempt at struggle music was truly a struggle. There was NOTHING inspiring about Started From the Bottom. He literally didn't say anything about struggling or the bottom he was starting from.
Compared to:
Now my mom pimps a Ac with minks on her back
And she loves to show me off of course
Smiles every time my face is up in The Source
We used to fuss when the landlord dissed us
No heat, wonder why Christmas missed us
Birthdays was the worst days
Now we sip champagne when we thirsty
thisHe was never gonna be amongst the GOAT's no, he's wack with or without writers, it's even wacker that he has a writing team and is still so bad, at least make the shyt dope...
won't ask howHe was raised by a white woman
I cant imagine how much different my views would be if i was raised by a white mother and white grandmother
Drake ain't black like me. I'm African and West Indian. The product of TWO black parents. I'm REAL black.
I can't relate to a guy who calls a white jewish woman his mother. He may have a black father, but at the end of the day, he ain't face the same adversity a full black rapper or person ever faces.
White supremacy works for him. It works against me and my people.
So we cannot relate.
