Drake isn't black to me. And knows nothing about being black or the black struggle. He might as well be a white boy to me.

He knows nothiing about getting pulled over by 3 cac cops simply for being black in a nice car in the wrong neighborhood at the wrong time.
He knows nothing about getting denied opportunities to succeed based on his race.
He had to learn how to be black from actual black people.

fukk him.
I get what your saying but brehs really think that CAC's look at biracial or lightskin blacks any different :upsetfavre:

Drake isn't that wack, I mean he's much better than K Rino:mjlol:
Drake is wack to me, and lol Drake isn't even in K-Rino's league as an artist, that isn't even worth discussing, can prefer him that's fine but as a talent it's not even in the same stratosphere. K-Rino supassed Drake's whole career skill wise and artistically on his first album decades ago.

Eh, I'm a hip-hop fan. I like J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Drake, Logic, Jay-Z, Chance, etc. These are not pop artists by any means. They may have pop records, but they are hip-hop artists. I like some 90's stuff, but the majority of it is too dusty for me to truly enjoy.

:mjlol: All are pop artists or wannabe-pop artists

Drake has yet to make an album that is consistent all the way through that most people can agree is a classic. Take care was as close as he is ever going to get and I thought that album wasn't that great when it dropped and dragged on. You can't be a GOAT without a single classic when you competing against people that had multiple

People love to lie that "the streets" don't rock with Drake. Which clubs/ parties are you going to that Drake doesn't get played. Pretty much everybody poppin gangsta rapper last few years have come to him for a record last few years too.

The hottest street rapper is / was probably Meek and before the beef he was naming drake as his favourite rapper lmao

Dead @ how delusional u have to be to think there exists a world where having zero classic albums/mixtapes (group or solo), only one great 4/5 mic album (If You're Reading This I've Found A New Ink Casper) where Q. Miller had to give him the training wheels treatment & walk him through making almost all the dope songs, more ghostwriters/ghostwriting claims than Destiny has had abortions paid for by Nas Lost, C+ lyricism, a flow more boring than watching Drizzy's blood dry on his period panties, the moist ass simp ass Lifetime TV movie special ass Admiral Save-A-Thot ass Mangina Monologues ass content, and being completely eviscerated on wax via collab and subliminal by the nikka whose panties you get wetter for than any other aka the GOAT our Flow Lord and Lyrical Savior Hova Da Gawd is even in the ease universe as a rapper worthy of GOAT status

And don't get it twisted for the rest of you dumb ass fukk boys stanning these wack ass, watered version of real GOAT's ass nikkaz rapping nowadays cuz ain't NONE of these nikkaz is higher than top 41-50 status, & in the case of Drizzy Vanilli being outside of the top 50 that shyt would be true even if he penned every last fairy juice filled, glitter covered, wack ass verse himself
anigif_enhanced-buzz-4528-1381155488-21.gif

The GOAT our Flow Lord and Lyrical Savior Hova Da Gawd is the GOAT, & the rest of the top 40 is 90's (mostly), 00's (partially), & 80's (select few) rappers leaving bum ass nikkaz like Zzz Cole aka Mos, Koondrick Sambomar aka Kenbytch Lamaze aka, Future Fagdross aka Marvin GayTL aka Teddy dikkinass, Queef Mills aka Khloe Jihad, Big Clit aka Brick Krit, & all the others struggling for legacy scraps

I'd rather listen to a Drake album than a Wu-Tang, Mobb Deep, or Biggie album. It's not because I don't think they're great artists - I do believe they are. I just find more enjoyment and relate more to a Drake record.

Music is subjective at the end of the day. That's why these GOAT debates are never going to end. I like to just listen to what I like.

He will never be among the GOATs because all of his music has zero depth. If you truly listen to his lyrics he's not saying anything of substance at all. It just feels robotic and manufactured.

It's pretty simple to me. From a rap artist perspective Drake doesn't do anything noteworthy outside of make hit records*. He's not a noteworthy lyricist, he's not a good storyteller at all, his introspective lyricism is decent, his word play is not impressive, he doesn't have a classic album, his flow has been stagnant ever since he bit Big Sean's, etc.

Nas is a master of introspective lyricism and a premier storyteller. Hov has the most versatile flow. Pac was a great songwriter and while he wasn't the best lyricist he maintained an impressive level of poetic flare. Biggie mastered multiple rap styles, was a premier storyteller, and had an impeccable flow. Where does Drake fit in that conversation? If you include newer artists, Kendrick is clearly a master at introspective lyricism and a premier storyteller. Freddie Gibbs has the most versatile flow today. What does Drake do great, in this context? Nothing.

*even his hit making feels suspect when you consider how he acquires songs from other people, then has other people write for him.
