Ever been to a sporting event by yourself?

This is usually the norm but being this is online it will be weirdo nikkas acting like this isn't how the vast majority of people roll to certain things like a game, club, movies. If you want to go solo cool do it but don't act brand new like that's the norm for most.

so whats different about going to a game and watching it by yourself aside from other people observing you ?

This sounds good online around more folks that will co sign this but why do people act like there isn't norms out here for certain things? That's my only problem when these discussions come up. I don't care if people do things solo I've went out solo to places not the club though shyt seems weird. I've rarely if ever saw that so nikkas can fukking say that ain't strange if they want to. The other stuff like movies, eating, even a sports game where I was given tieckets to I went solo. That still doesn't mean that the norm isn't to go to certain things with people.

i go to games dolo all the time- i also got friends and fam who go sometimes too. but a lot of times people have to back out. then if you was really wanting to go, you'll be mad if you missed it. i go to hornets games often dolo or will meet my boys there. i went to the panthers vs 49ers playoff game back in january 2014 dolo. i have taken women to events but sometimes i don't wanna be explaining the game non stop. i like to watch as a fan and analyze it. a lot of the time you end up chopping it up with people nearby.

i used to try and go with people only but if they back out, i still go regardless. so i plan for that and if they can make it cool but if not i still enjoy myself.

I got friends and fam that do, but i've never done it myself. They say that shyt be lit, they be posting pics/vids drinking and shyt w/ the ppl they sitting next to, laughin havin fun & shyt. I cant do it tho lol

Clubs I agree. Concerts too.

But movie theaters? Besides comedies I love going to matinees to see movies dolo.

Why would it be cool to go by yourself to a sports event but not the movies? Even when with someone, I don't talk during the movie, so I can enjoy it just as much dolo.


To answer the thread, I semi went to a Rockets-GSW game by myself once. Was in Houston for some other shyt with a few of my boys. Months prior, one of my boys mentioned there'd be that game on the Friday we'd be there. I said I was down, and we didn't speak on it after that. Fast forwards to a few days before the trip, I ask him if he was still wit it, and he tells me he already bought his ticket, smh. So I went on one of those sites and copped a seat in the section next to his (no seats available in his section), so I was essentially at the game dolo. A group of teenage white chicks on one side with their pops supervising, and another mini group on the other side. I hated it. Games are meant to be enjoyed socially imo, so Harden or Durant would make a great play and I didn't have anyone to react with. I didn't have anyone to assess the game with. Rockets ended up getting blowed out, so I went to my boys section halfway through the fourth. Kinda glad I had this experience, cuz it solidified my belief that I wouldn't enjoy going to a game by myself. Especially when threads like these come up and nikkas try to sell the notion of this being a great time or the best way to enjoy live sports.

It's not that they act like it's the norm, but that they act like it's a better way to enjoy the event/activity that kills me
