True but also if i got in on lies, the truth will hurt because im switching up on you. But if i had said the truth from the beginning, you would expect the truth and it wouldn't hurt as much. I think people lie to avoid confrontations. But these same lies lead to more lies. At some point the burden of lying becomes too much so you tell the truth and the other person feels blindsided.
