say, breh, why you kickin it with nikkas 10 yrs younger than you? :mjpls:

I work in an office setting. So I don't hang out with the people here... I met these young nikkas thru my cousin he is younger than me. I normally go out solo or with my girl. BUT when Im :smoker: or just chillin at the pool hall, bar or club its me and young goons.

When I grew up I used to hang with older nikkas.. I was 15 they was 25. Now the roles reversed

They like the fact I have a "legal hustle" and I still do side shyt... I feel sorry for the young nikkas, aint much shyt out here legally to make bread in Flawda

using a hollywood movie as your example for why you'd live in the 20's :wow:

some of y'all need to talk to your grand parents about them days and get the real version

I posted the movie because its a favorite of mine. Every text book, novel and article about the Harlem Renaissance wasn't lies and bullshyt :stopitslime: Blacks weren't migrating from all across the country for nothing. It was a reason why a cluster of writers, musicians, dancers, actors, businessmen and poets formed there :stopitslime: Obviously racism existed and blacks have more opportunity now. Doesn't mean that era wasn't a special time to be living in.

i feel like women were more loyal in past decades. not against equality and all that, just seems like there were less hoes.

that racism shyt is true, and thats one thing i wouldn't want to be apart of, but the roaring 20's seems like a fun ass time. Wish i was around then.

:beli: Women are loyal now.

:heh: how is it more special than this era? not as much racism, cellphones, internet. the ability to hook up with whomever you want w/o fear of being lynched. cultural variety. real opportunity to be sucessful and wealthy. heated toilet seats. cheap and efficent air conditioners. i could go on forever.

but you can go back to drinkin from the blacks only fountain if ya want to :mjpls:

Would love to be where I'm at in my life now - only let it be in the 90s.

I'm good. Born in '81 :lawd:

Just wish the dating scene was the way it was for my parents sometimes. Commitment was easier to do for both sides and there was way less ratchet shyt to deal with compared to now.

I'd liked to have grown up in the 80s but romanticising the past is a dangerous hobby brehs - everybody faced some kind of issue and assuming that 'life was easier back then' is far from the truth.

I got 2 years in the 80s though :to:
