:what: Why don't they move the bodies??

I'm sure the families would like to have them at the funeral.

Is this real?
most of the bodies are too hard to get to

and most of those dead people wouldnt want their bodies moved

If people take a "rest stop" and freeze to death... my guess is that you can't linger around in some of these spots, they don't go up there with a lot of equipment or supplies.

Seems like attempts have been made to move the bodies to less-visible situations

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francys_Arsentiev

Woodall initiated and led an expedition in 2007, "The Tao of Everest", with the purpose of returning to the mountain to bury the bodies of Francys Arsentiev and Indian climber Tsewang Paljor ("Green Boots"), both of whom were plainly visible from the nearby climbing route. Bad weather delayed the attempt, but on May 23, 2007, Woodall was able to locate, and after a brief ritual, drop Arsentiev's body to a lower location on the face, removing the body from view.

Freezing to death sounds horrible..... :mjcry: Why even attempt to climb that fukking mountain. crazy ass white people....

Fun(?)-fact: Dying of hypothermia, paradoxically enough, is not a very horrible way to die. What happens is, your blood recedes to your core (to keep the heart warm) and the rest of your body starts to freeze. You eventually start feeling both warm (aka stage two of hypothermia) and sleepy, thus:

Peep homie dead while taking his clothes off (RIP to the breh *pours liquor*). You even stop shivering my nikka...I did read somewhere that it takes longer for your brain to die than any other type of death.
Except:
The moment you begin to feel sleepy is the moment you're about to die, because your whole body will be begging you to just lay down for a quick minute. Needless to say you DON'T wake up (if the hypothermia is severe enough).

So...:yeshrug: still not worse than dying in a fire.

Fun-fact no. 2:

Paradoxical undressing
Twenty to fifty percent of hypothermia deaths are associated with paradoxical undressing. This typically occurs during moderate to severe hypothermia, as the person becomes disoriented, confused, and combative. They may begin discarding their clothing, which, in turn, increases the rate of heat loss.[17][18]

Rescuers who are trained in mountain survival techniques are taught to expect this; however, some may assume incorrectly that urban victims of hypothermia have been subjected to a sexual assault.[19]
