I agree, and I've said that repeatedly on here. We need leaders in this who know how to move, know how to organize, and are willing to sacrifice. I think Coates has the writing shyt down as well as anyone, he's helped grow it enormously and convert millions of people, but he's not a leader/organizer. I haven't been impressed with any of social media leaders who keep spitting bullshyt or making bad moves and bogging themselves down in infighting. I haven't seen the successful organization there. I know we have different opinions on that front.

But Yvette is one of the people I'm talking about who keeps being divisive and moving wrong.

In 2012 she was caping for racist Ron Paul as the best hope for America. In 2016 she was caping for Bernie Sanders and shytting all over Ta-Nehisi Coates for saying that Sanders wasn't pushing reparations enough, claiming that Coates was practicing "Black Identity politics" and that reparations doesn't have to be Black specific. The next year she joined the board of an anti-immigrant group created by the White Supremacist John Tanton. When she got criticized for that she defended herself by pointing out that Leah Durant and Frank Morris were also on the board....even though both of them have been cavorting with Tanton and other known White Supremacists for years. Then in 2018 she's turning around shytting on Bernie Sanders, who she supported in 2016, because he wasn't with reparations.

Earlier this year, Yvette Carnell said the worst political choice she ever made was supporting Barack Obama in 2008. Not supporting Ron Paul in 2012, not shytting on reparations in 2016, not joining a John Tanton White Nationalist front group, not switching back to Coates's exact position on Bernie Sanders yet never apologizing for attacking that position and then continuing to shyt on Coates....no, it was Obama who is the big demon to her.

I'm not going to attack you for being on her side, but I hope you can at least see for me why personally joining up with her leadership doesn't appear to be the wave to me.

Nope, you completely misread what my concern is. I actually go to real-life political events so the discourse here doesn’t technically bother me.

Where it becomes a problem is this very board spent a number of its early years using TLR as a sounding board for “Cacs, c00ns, and cac00ns” on the pro-black tip. There was a time a few years ago where white supremacy was not used in national conversations and that frustrated many folks on here(for good reason.) ive seen the picture of Biden with Strom Thurmond laughing a few decades ago. Dems get called out all the time and its understood why.

Oh but then Republicans comes up. Not only are there common “Do you think the Dems will save you? ” interjections but a lot of “fukk both sides” or “I dont care about politics” but when its time to chop it up, enough bothsides derailers come in and change the convo. With a quickness. A few months ago I would have thought Biden was the most anti-black President in History. Trump is fog-horning in our faces and a bunch of posters shrug so hard about it we can hear the shoulders pop. Whether or not the Dems have problems(they do) is one topic. We can stick to that. How come Trump and Republican criticism has to be met with caveats and side conversations all the goddamn time? There is a thread that was just made that illustrates my point.
