Meditate.
It gives you the ability to control your body and mind.
It's not religious.
Hold in piss makes you want to piss.
Your brain should send you a signal to piss. (Exictory signals)
If you ain't in a position to piss, your brain will send you a signal saying to hold it. (Inhibatory signals)
If you don't deal with that shyt, the hold piss signal makes you worry(Another bad signal) so the brain sends the piss signal to the point where your bladder just goes regardless due to preserving itself (The bladder) for the greater good of the body.
Scientists knew this but realized through studies that the same effect happens when you worry or get stressed.
Meditation stops the worry signal which was currently shooting through your brain and make you anxious since it represses(Inhibits) negative shyt.
You gotta learn to meditate, it ain't something you learn through just living life normally.
Another example of inhibtary (Hold it) signals through teaching kids how to use the potty.
Babies born without that shyt so they just piss themselves until you teach 'em how to use those signals.
Swap out the babies pissing themselves to being potty trained and replace it with humans naturally worrying and meditation being a way to cull that shyt for better life effects.
- "Meditation helps you to get rid of the negative thoughts/feelings you'd normally have since your mind was never trained on how to deal with them in the purported best way possible, which is to meditate."
Meditate on this Neg Op, for making me gotta go piss, reading all that shyt.
meditation isn't just sitting on the ground in lotus position.
weed can be used to aid meditation. in your "medicated" state it can be far easier to simply sit still and literally FEEL the body and its functions, focusing on breathing etc so I don't knock weed unless you have a dependence.
really meditation being "scientifically proven" to work shouldn't come as such a great surprise. when you're lifting a dumbbell you're focusing in a particular group of muscles and allowing more to flow there. meditation is allowing yourself to let go of external things and focus more on the internal. training the mind's muscle one could say.
meditating is keeping your mind very active though
you are actively controlling your thoughts and disciplining your mind to focus on what you want to focus on, instead of unwanted worries and negative feelings
