nah you can move to the South, there is nothing wrong with that, but im saying in the future we are probably going to end up moving up North cause most likely shyt up North will have Opportunities and a better cost of living. shyt is a cycle of migration but nobody understands what im saying.
thats fair i understand where your coming from :salute:

technology is so fast nowadays that what ever happens in L.A. or N.Y. , can be easily picked up down south or the midwest

this isn't like years ago.... when u have places like louisiana and texas offering tax breaks for movie productions i can easily say fukk cali and move down south

same thing with the automotive industry....

problem with places up north is the local leaders and politicians running shyt to cater one sector of people and not the whole.. perfect example San Francisco..... it's all about tech geeks fukk the other business industries... wait till and it will happen San Francisco economy falls apart.. those leaders will be begging for people to come back

Maybe, the northeast did a great job developing its tech sector ( NYC, Boston). If more black people get into STEM fields you may have a point. Average tech salary in NYC is 145,000 as of 2014. And to be honest all you need is some certs. We're struggling to find talent tho. So you may have a point!

But to be honest I say let them stay in the south. It's too crowded up here anyway.:manny:

I actually dont think weve seen the full potential of the southern states yet.

We are experiencing growth with no real driving industry, unlike the north and the west, which have finance and tech as booming sectors.

If we had an industry based in the south, it would only get better and would be a real estate gold mind.

most of our great grand parents, and grand parents went through migrations where they moved up North for opportunities and to escape the issues in The South. everybody now is moving to the South for jobs and shyt like that, in the future watch everybody move back up North cause they got jobs and shyt that we need. it's a cycle of migration.

If most people are leaving because of the cost of living and local economy, they aren't

People go where the money is

And the cost of living in places like New York isn't going down any soon

I'm starting to disagree with this. I didn't want to believe it personally, because it's good to always have more money flowing in the city; but Manhattan rents are falling a lot faster than the city wants to let on. At first people blamed Brooklyn for the Manhattan prices falling; but now that Brooklyn is not increasing as much, and Manhattan still falling this is becoming an interesting discussion.

:mindblown: Why would you pay that much to live in a one bedroom, when you can buy a 2br-3br co-op in a safe neighborhood for around 1200 a month. Are you new to Queens?

BTW: With those prices you have to be living in the following areas
1) Jamaica estates
2) LIC
3) Forest Hills before the exist to Rego park We're you living at? :ld:
