Nah, he got a great gig.

He's got a great gig for a player of his talent that isn't overly ambitious. Klay probably doesn't care about that stuff but that doesn't mean Kyrie is wrong for feeling how he feels. Klay wasn't the #1 draft pick and dubbed the franchise player with a big contract before a supernova showed up and snatched that from you lol.

He shouldn't be painted as selfish/foolish when he's shown for 3 straight years he can play second fiddle and prioritize winning. He got his ring at the age of 25 and was by all accounts a good teammate. Time to go get his and establish himself as an individual talent capable of being the best player on a team. The ring stuff is already taken care of, which is rare for someone at 24.

Yes Curry and KD get the majority of the praise for GSW's success, but Dray, Klay and even Iggy get huge amounts. They are seen as a team while Cleveland as seen as the LeBron show. It's ALWAYS pointed out how pathetic Cleveland looks without him and the story is all about HIS legacy. Why would he not want to try and prove that wrong?

Being a teammate to LeBron is different than any other player in the league because he's dubbed "the one". Scotties Pippen said he loved it when MJ went to go play baseball because he saw it as his chance to show what he can do being the man.

Like I said before, people created a version of Klay Thompson that doesn't exist in reality both on the court and personality wise.

He's just like his father who was also able to subjugate his ego while he played with a dude who's ego was big enough to be called Magic.

The apple doesn't fall that far from the tree.

Klay and Steph genuinely look like they're friends off the court.

Ain't nobody on the cavs fukking with LeBron's hoe ass like that :skip:

They're not friends off the court tho.

Steph is married and Klay is out there on some frat boy shyt. They live completely different lives and have little to no relationship outside of basketball.

Klay's ego just isn't as big as people think and they're cool enough at work to make it work.

Ask Cavs fans if they think he's being selfish.

Why would I ask a cavs fan if he's being selfish?

They're emotional cuz they're losing a superstar

I asked you how is he being selfish and you deflected

I'm sure klay has these same feelings, he's just handling this better.

Klay isn't on Kyries level as a basketball player though

He's being selfish because he cares about who's getting the most credit.

I think people have a preconceived notion, that klay doesn't have aspirations of grandure, he's just riding his contract out, the key will be what he does when the contract ends, and I promise it won't be a pay cut, hell curry didn't take a pay cut, you think draymond is taking a pay cut??? Kd did that because 1 he got his money, and 2 that was the situation apropos to him knowing what he would have to do to maintain the show.

As for kyrie, he got his ring, why not go out and try and be the man, some of you nikkas who hate lebron or KD will say he doesn't have it in him to be the man, now you got a dude who's trying to get out of the next mans shadow, and he's selfish, shyt can't win for losing :francis:

Anybody that thought Klay would want to leave is an idiot. He's got one of the sweetest gigs in sports rn.

Basically he just has to play D and get hot on O. and if he doesn't get hot it's just a write off like "oh well keep feeding him maybe he'll get hot next game:yeshrug:steph and KD got us 30 a piece tonight anyway"

From day 1 Kyrie made it known he wasn't bending the knee. He might play his role, but he aint bowing down.

That's my point playa, no one in their prime will take a pay cut especially with two rings, now it's not enough money to spread around, so you think klay will take a cut..... doubt it, but folks won't call him selfish, plus what makes people think he don't want to be the man.....
