Exactly :manny: and isn't his contract up before 9 years?
I'm saying by the time he's a free agent he'd have put in 9 seasons with the organization. After 9 seasons with one organization a guy can go wherever he wants and the fans should appreciate him for his service.

I know that...but he signed a 4 year deal in 2015 didn't he? And that probably has a player option which seems to be standard. So it would 8, or 7.

The point still stands I'm just arguing semantics.

The situations seem different - Klay is on a team that's essentially locked for the title for the next 3 years at least while still being able to get his all star and hall of fame numbers, Kyrie is on what is apparently a sinking ship of a team playing second fiddle to what sounds like a glorified pick up game with LeBron as captain.

Kyrie on the second best team in the league and he takes more shots per game than anybody on the Warriors roster.

Not saying that Kyrie's situation is the worst by any standards, but ultimately in comparison to Klay and responding to the thread it makes sense why things played out the way they did given what's happened recently and how good the Warriors are as of now.

:dead: at being selfish because he wants to build his own legacy. Not be a footnote in LeBron's.

You nikkas don't even realize it but, you've proven Kyrie's point. All this anger and hate being thrown his way because he wants to stand on his own proves he was never really valued in Cleveland and was just a means to an end for the LeBron show. You would think he would get MAJOR LOVE for sinking that three in Steph's face but, all that love went right out the window when he did something that didn't align with the LeBron agenda :pachaha:
