I initiated the separation, and she just filed for divorce.

I’m hurting… My babies are going to be devastated.

I don’t regret standing up for myself and stopped tolerating the disrespect… I just wish divorce wasn’t the answer

I spent the last 5 years putting myself through hell to provide the best life possible for my family. (GED -> Masters).

I suppose I just never envisioned that divorce was a reality. I guess I also can see my own naïveté about the whole thing.
