another travel thread?
:wow:

but whats the best between Dublin, Glasgow, and Amsterdam?
lettanikkaknow...

In my opinion, Amsterdam. If nothing else, at least you'd be able to understand the locals.

Seriously, though, it ultimately depends on what you're trying to experience, but there are better looking women, and a more enjoyable culture in Amsterdam.

Isn't Amsterdam a Dutch speaking city tho?
I know they speak English in Scotland and Ireland...

Everyone in amsterdam speaks better english than Irish/scots.

Heavy Scottish accent is particular had to understand, especially Glaswegian.

This. Well, it isn't so much that Scots and Irish don't speak English well, it's just many foreigners seem to struggle with the accents - particularly after a few drinks in both/either direction(s).

Interesting... thank you.

I been watching youtube vids and reading up, and im still debating between Dublin and Amsterdam. I know Amsterdam is a USA tourist favorite with the weed and freedoms, but it seems Dublin is a cool little spot to spend 3 or 4 days.

I've never been Dublin, but tbh if I was gonna hit Europe I'd go amsterdam, london or Paris, like I say though, Dublin looks cool, I just heard its expensive to drink and that's mainly why people go.

And don't worry about language in amsterdam, everyone speaks English, from the barmen to the cleaners, their education system must be :blessed:

He should go to Prague. Best party city in Europe, imho. Especially if one is single. A dollar fifty for great beer. :mj:

Foreigners cant smoke the ganja in the cafes anymore.

What are you looking for?

If its clubs, drugs and women - Amsterdam.

If its somewhere to explore for a few days and chill - Dublin.

I heard the whores are cheaper than amsterdam as well :obama:

There is a club called big sister. Near the staropramen brewery. You go in, drink and if a girl takes a liking to you, she brings into one of the rooms and gets down to business. Its free, only problem is that its screened live on the net. Dudes pay subscriptions to watch.:deadmanny:

One of my old friends visited recently and said it was probably the best trips of his life. Cheap beer, cheap accomodation, and lots to do.

if you want to travel internationally for cheap, hostels and airbnb.com are your friend.

i'm lucky enough to earn free flights and hilton hotel nights from all my business travel, but whenever I run out I book hostels using hostelworld.com.

The best thing to do is a pick a timeframe and book your flight...this kinda forces you to do it.

I went on a three week Euro vacay in July and it was insane. Started out in London, then to Barcelona, to Venice, to Florence, to Rome, and ended up in Paris.

Once you are in Europe, you can hop from country to country for cheap ($20-50/one way) using regional airlines like ryan air or easyjet.
