For China if you want to teach all you really need is TEFL, if you want to teach @ an international school you'd need a teaching license, and they pay more. I've read that black people get paid less, but that's to be expected in such a culture, even then you'd still make enough to save more than you would here which is crazy when you think about it. I think the average salary is around $1500 a month, but that sometimes includes an apartment provided for you for free, and then the cost of living being so low...well you make out well. With your background, you'd probably have a shot at an international Academy.

@Tommy Knocks would know more than me, but I've heard enough from people that it can be great once you get over the culture shock. And the fact you're not Asian means you'd eat on some King Kong shyt with the women.

Been busy with work and Chinese classes.

To answer the question its quite easy to get a job and you save loads per month while mantaining your lifestyle. I say do it. your biggest obstacle is language but we have smart phones this day and age. it does everything for me.

Well not now least I'm finally making an effort to learn. it was intimidating but now that I'm flowing its exciting and fun

You're very fortunate. I'm just realizing how very little I've seen of the world at the age of 26 after talking to some old high school friends who were just over in Europe on some casual shyt (drinking in Paris, chiefing in Amsterdam) and I want to start changing that immediately this year...

Amsterdam is a favorite of mine. I been there twice and even considered relocation there. I think if committed to viewing the world you will be able to make the necessary sacrifies to do so.
