Everything closing early is really starting to piss me off

Grocery stores closing at 11 is.pissing me off...but it's due to shoplifting mostly here in Seattle.

Safeway was 1am and now only 1 withing seattle is.open till 1am.

Qfc was 24hrs now it.isnt.

Government buildings still being closed is bullshyt because you have to wait on the phone for hours TO MAYBE speak to someone.

By the time we saw one that was open. We said F it lol

fukk no shyt is objectively stupid and I say that as a 23 year old college student. your free time bullshyttin with friends > those jobs. Plus theres much better alternatives still working in finishing school but I bring a cool 60K in a year on my own hours

Nobody in college is a “kid”. These are adults with debt, bills, limited time and the fact that they happen to be in school doesn’t excuse the fact that these jobs don’t pay enough for an hour or time/work.

and college students don't have time to work and if they do is only like 4 hours a day they have to study and their parents and financial aid pay for everything

This was bound to come with higher wages though. Stores staying open 24/7 was always gonna go.

Everybody’s sick of minimum wage not paying enough and they quitting. All these places understaffed now. Most Walmart’s used to be 24/7 (at least felt like it) Now they closing at like 11 now

idk if pay is entirely to blame if this is happening in TX, where min wage is 7.25, to NY, where min wage is 15.

It's like some of these places haven't quite recovered from the pandemic mode or something ... I get grocery stores and restaurants need to close at 6, 7, 8pm in March/April/May 2020 but we have vaccines and the doctors understand the way to treat this a lot better now

and u had places like McDonald’s who use to open at 5 in the morning are now opening at 7
