I get off @ 11pm.

All of our Krogers close at 11pm. Our other grocery stores close earlier.

I have to go to the store after I drop my kids off at school.

Work is work, pay them people well and treat em right and we wouldn't have these problems :coffee:

:ld:Maybe just maybe, workers are tired of bullshyt at night.

:ld:Maybe, these "jobs" need a revamp to better welcome workers on a better pay, better conditioning ratio.

:ld:Maybe, people are finally realizing their work and don't want to deal with doofus ass customers and managers treating them like slaves.

:ld:Maybe, folks are finally coming to the conclusion that there is more to life than running the rat race with nothing to gain.

As somebody that used to work the night shift, I am happy that these places are closing early. The only damn thing that should be open at the wee hours are gas stations and Waffle Houses and even those places are struggling.

At the end of the day, Covid expose whats wrong with this country and the higher ups are still lost in the sauce of what to do this fix this dire situation.

business owners and bum ass managers have god complexes.
i've seen it way too many times.

time to break that way of thinking and behaving.
people finally found their pride and discovered the power of withholding their time, labor and bodies from the system.

i'm more than willing to suffer the inconveniences for the greater good.

I used to be a Socialism idealist when I was your age young breh. I know it hurts

White man didn't dominate with Imperialism for 500 years and counting being altruistic like the majority of this thread is feeling right now

Better wake up and learn this game before it's too late

:yeshrug: I was in the steak ‘n Shake drive-through for 35 minutes the other day with only four cars ahead of me. Think it bothered me? Nope. I know there is a labor shortage cause people dont want to work those shyt ass jobs. I did that for years and would probably commit that before going back.

I stand with labor. My little inconveniences or a small price to pay if it means the pay bands across-the-board go up after all of this.
