On one hand people complain about raising the minimum wage

On the other hand, people call those jobs low skilled and tell workers to find a better paying jobs

The service industry is overworked and underpaid. And it doesn’t help that they have to deal with a$$hole customers on a daily basis.

Its not just the service industry. I work in advertising and nikkas been dipping every week or two for the last year. Whole staff damn near new. A lot of places are desperate by loss of staff so they are actually hiring for permanent WFH.

i say that to say, if you want ppl to question their lives and jobs, COVID been the catalyst. You can thug out a job for another year or two in office. But the new schedule of being "free" but having more meetings and quicker deadlines which feel like more work, nikkas aint having it

It’s an NC grocery store but Food Lion still closes at 11, so I’m good. I usually go around this time on Fridays or Saturdays to a practically empty store. I’m in and out in 15 min.
