A lazy worker is going to be a lazy worker no matter what you pay them. A good worker is going to be a good worker no matter what you pay them.

Your logic, nothing will ever improve. Guess you like the status quo of low pay and disrespect.

:ld:Maybe just maybe, workers are tired of bullshyt at night.

:ld:Maybe, these "jobs" need a revamp to better welcome workers on a better pay, better conditioning ratio.

:ld:Maybe, people are finally realizing their work and don't want to deal with doofus ass customers and managers treating them like slaves.

:ld:Maybe, folks are finally coming to the conclusion that there is more to life than running the rat race with nothing to gain.

As somebody that used to work the night shift, I am happy that these places are closing early. The only damn thing that should be open at the wee hours are gas stations and Waffle Houses and even those places are struggling.

At the end of the day, Covid expose whats wrong with this country and the higher ups are still lost in the sauce of what to do this fix this dire situation.

Tell these execs to lower their annual bonuses, raise pay and benefits, and have a UNION. Maybe, just maybe, things will improve.

Before the pandemic, I was complaining about everything closing at 10pm here in the ATL. Coming from the DMV, that was an hour to early for me. A lot of nights it would be a little too late to cook something, And that time would be close to10pm, when everything closed.
Dealing with this now. I missed being able to pull up to a Bodega and get a sandwich at 1-4am in the morning.

Maaaaaan if the bolded aint the gospel truth :wow: Covid really exposed how little of a fukk the gov and companies care about the people, and how trash capitalism is. Not to mention that it has really shown us why unions are like, needed.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
I used to love grocery shopping after midnight. It was nobody there and therapeutic. Now I'm there in the afternoon and evening with everyone else bumping into a dozen people, standing in a long ass line :scust:

You beented to Costco lately?

I damn near have to go slightly inebriated just the tolerate the hysteria that is the lines/congestion there (always bring my beats by bruce leeroy with me to funnel out the soundtrack of crying infants and upsetting foreign languages blaring).

Wow. I love people watching and there's always hoes there so i'm good... but feel bad for the masses.

Was just asking cause you at an arcade at 1:30 am on a Thursday.

Not everyone has to be at work at the crack of dawn breh. Even so, why you clock watching me like you my daddy or something? You don't pay my bills dude. If I want to stay out late during the week, that's my business.

So you (indirectly) defending low pay and no rights or flexibility? :stopitslime:

These CEOs are ripping their own workers off.

You choose what your time is worth.
And it seems like people are doing that more now

Then don't complain that no one wants to work for $8 an hour in a hyperinflated economy in 2021. :stopitslime:

You want everything cheap and fast, not factoring in the (in)humane conditions it took to even reach that. Back 50 years ago, only diners and hotels were open 24/7.
