i'll already told you how scientist explain it, you don't believe it.

I believe you. I just don't believe your answer is complete. You said "it's a chemical reaction." That doesn't tell me much at all. There's 4 types of chemical reactions and you didn't even bother to tell me which one.

I'm sorry but your answer is incomplete and thus insufficient to me. :yeshrug:

where did i say cavemen didn't experience love?

You asked "do you think cave men were romancing women?" What did you mean by this question?

I see people in TLR everyday saying they don't want kids. So what does evolution say about these individuals?

but you never hear them say 'i dont want sex'. which is natures way of bringing kids into this world.

And most human beings do have sex for recreation. That's why the birth control industry is so large. You're oversimplifying life by saying love is just a chemical reaction and sex is just for procreation. That would sound great in an essay or something unfortunately, life contradicts that everyday.

yes, humans have sex for recreation. which is why i said birth control tricks the human body. but sex is still natures way of making sure your genetic material passes on to the next generation.

I'm not "hear" to educate you. :troll:

if you can't explain your definition of love, just come on out and say it. :ld:

So what's the science behind it? Just a chemical reaction like @marcuz said? I don't think it's that simple. That doesn't explain how we choose mates. There's physical attraction which touches on aesthetics and beauty. But what's the science to that? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

And this question can spawn many others like what drives our instinct to procreate? And why aren't all humans driven to procreate? Etc, but I don't wanna get too far off topic.

I'm not sure what answer you're looking for. I think it should be obvious at this point that there is no 'simple answer', and this subject is on the verge of our understanding of the mind, evolution, etc. for that matter, the fields of neurology and evolutionary psychology do offer some insight into this subject, but I'm not sure that would help much in this broad layperson discussion. ultimately it's kinda on you if you want to attempt to understand all this. that's why I just gave you some basic ideas to think about

Ah I see what you're saying. So nature made it feel so good to "trick" us into making babies whether we want to or not.

So is love a part of this scheme too? Is love (you know what I mean when I say love :stopitslime:) exclusive to human beings? Why don't animals fall in love? Why don't humans fukk like animals? With multiple partners and no regard? Is love a moral thing? Well, morality is a whole 'nother thread topic, so I won't even go there.

IDK, seems like "evolution" or "nature" has a mission. Seems kinda personified to me. Why does nature "care"?

IDK man. For some supposed "smart nikkas" yall nikkas is pretty basic IMO. I see cats crusading for atheism here all the time but there's obviously some unanswered questions within that ideology. I experience love every single day and the only explanation for it is comparing it to a chemistry experiment. How do you guys accept that?

You're the experts, I'm just trying to learn. Maybe there's nothing to teach. :manny:

Unbelievable. Ask a simple question that so-called "experts" can't answer and they call it a troll thread.

I like to call it an "exposal" thread. I don't think a lot of you guys are as smart as you think you are and/or pretend to be.

All religion is :duck: but ask an atheist a simple question and he can't say shyt. Interesting.

atheism isn't dependent on 'science' having an answer for everything
