PlayStation server is dead too.

There's like 60 users in total but 90% of the discussion is just Gizmo treating the server like his soapbox, or us arguing over some bullshyt. Probably only 3-5 other regulars who show up here and there.

Who was SNG there? I don't remember that.

The problem is the games get dumbed down and full of bloat like dlc and cash shops.

Yeah and how many games honestly this gen has that happened for? It's not too many examples of a game that was multiplatform that suddenly got yanked to be exclusive outside of Starfield? COD had a lot of commotion because that was a BIG title, literally one of the biggest games ever to be possibly removed from Playstation where it's already huge. Of course that would get the internet talking. It'd be the same thing if GTA VI or NBA 2K was exclusive to only Playstation.

That's the thing, y'all don't have any idea how many until the information is out there. Before the ABK trial y'all vehemently denied PS did this at all.

This is a silly argument that I often see being made by some of y'all. Attach rate for games are not exclusively 1st party vs 3rd party. All 3rd party games don't have GTA, COD or 2K attach rates. The majority of 3rd party games are not pulling those numbers.

It's not still at all, if you can say with your chest that exclusives are the reason people buy Consoles, and in particular PlayStation since that's it's thing. Then these 1st party and 3rd party PlayStation exclusive should have attach rates like GTA and Madden and COD

But they don't...why?

Most 3rd party games are not selling like God of War, Uncharted, TLOU, Horizon or Gran Turismo.

Achievements, standardized hard drives included with consoles, standardized wireless controllers included with the console, USB drivers for console controllers with PC support, unified online multiplayer under the same screen name with crossgame invites / chat, an online marketplace on a console, crossplatform multiplayer, applications runnable on a console like streaming apps, free games included with console multiplayer

I think they aren't the reasons consoles sell... You probably got the 2 mixed up. I think the main reason consoles sell is more because people want to play with and talk about games with their friends and others.

Otherwise PlayStation 1st party exclusives should have an attach rate higher than ... 5% especially since you all claim that's the system biggest draw, and even if you want to say oh all exclusives not just 1st party.... That's even worse, that just means these half a billion dollar 1st party games aren't sustainable nor make sense financially.

You don't have this same smoke/concern for Nintendo.
