Adults should get 150 to 300 minutes of moderate physical activity or 75 to 150 minutes of vigorous physical activity a week, according to the World Health Organization. But people who surpass those levels live longer than those who don't.

:ufdup:Don’t let yourselves die or think that bbw shyt is sexy. It ain’t take care of yaselves.
You want to live longer and enjoy life into ya late years or be a fukking living carcass/portable earthquake the choice is yours :manny:

I picked biking up last year after a long ass break. Best thing I've done. It gets me active, helps clear my head, and gives me a bunch of energy.

Every time I try to hit the gym a new strain or fukking epidemic starts up again. I need to get back to that soon.

This sounds like one of those studies where there's other hidden factors at play

Someone who exercises more than 40 minutes a day (at the maximum average of 300 minutes of moderate physical activity) is probably a health nut in other ways - cleaner diet, more active, etc.

Also, being able to workout that much as an adult probably means they have money as well. So possibly less stress, more freedom of nutrition, able to travel, hang out with people living similar lifestyles, etc.

EDIT: Since you nikkas think I'm :flabbynsick: let me clarify: I'm saying that this study probably doesn't cover the full scope of things and there's more factors to improving your lifespan so much than just x amount of minutes being physically fit.

This is the important part. Exercise is increasing becoming a luxury along with homeownership and a college educated. When I had 2 jobs and was working 60+ hrs a week, I struggled to schedule meal times let alone exercise sessions. Hustle culture doesn't account for a healthy lifestyle.

Bet you had plenty of time to sit in fast food drive thrus, scroll Instagram and message boards and binge Netflix though in your downtime. Embarrassing blaming not being able to exercise on anything but yourself
