What are some good tips I can use so that I can expand my vocabulary for rap. I'm sick of using these little words, I'm trying to be on some eminem, canibus type level

Listen to K-Rino and artists of that ilk vocabulary wise. Read and always look up any word you don't know, learn new words each day and memorise them and look at synonyms also so you can express yourself in a variety of ways. It's a multi faceted answer but some of the above tips will help.

You could also potentially read compelx artists lyrics and learn the meanings of the word they use.

If you're looking to expand your vocabulary, I'd look outside of hip hop.

I know I've cringed more than once or twice over how awkwardly a rapper used a word.

Whoever soda listen to smart people was right too, I've always had a larger vocabulary, probably in part to listening to others who did as a kid, and asking if I didn't know what a word meant too. A large vocabulary can be a useful life took along with being very important in writing or speaking.

when i was young i thought certain rappers & standup comedians were really deep, but they got nothing on writers. find ones that you connect with stylistically or whatever...for me one was hubert selby who was uneducated & self-taught and kinda wrote in his own way
