I never said he wasn't an all-time great scorer as a matter I said the exact opposite.

BTW Durant manages to lead the L in scoring year in and year out with a PG he regularly outshoots him. Poor shot selection and skipping college are the reasons why his PPG isn't as high not great teammates or playing in the more offensive conference.
Did I deny he was an all-time great scorer? Where did I say that?
50 pt games must be the end all be all to you because there are other nikkas with higer PPG and as many or more scoring titles. So based upon the criteria that YOU are setting forth it's all about the 50 pt games and that is a silly metric. You can't speak to watching games and context and then list things that dont' require you to watch games and the only context is the context that you create. Kobe is the best scorer since Mike since he was able to score from anywhere on the floor on anybody and did so consistently over time and because he has the mentality to score and take over. Bron and Durant are the only guys currently playing with a shot of surpassing him.
