Okay im just going to ask you straight up. Yes or no, do you believe Ted Cruz or Donald Trump winning this presidential election would leave this country in a better position to enact the policies you like in your lifetime over Hillary winning?
I'd vote for Trump over Clinton and I stated these reasons over 20 times already. A four year Trump presidency wouldn't hurt me in the slightest :ehh:

I hate to say it bruh, but you are seriously a moron. I mean the rest of us are saying shyt like #Trumpset as a joke but from reading your posts it really does seem like you have no grasp of politics or even logic in general.

You seriously dont think Trump nominating 3 Supreme Court justices and turning the court to a 6-3 conservative majority for the next 20 years has not even the slightest impact on your political agenda. Im speechless.

I think he would just appoint a moderate. Kinda the same Obama has done. Like I said, Clinton is actually worse and not even a progressive. We had to beat it out of her to actually say the word.

P.S. I'm not a moron. Sorry, but I'm not a Rockefeller Republican. I'm an Independent.

Is this a rhetorical question? Look, Clinton is doing 350K fundraisers. Getting money from big corporations and etc. Plus, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is crooked.

No it isn't rhetorical. I'm asking youy because I think you are generalizing certain issues within the Democratic primaries that are in Clinton's favor over Bernie's and thinking that somehow the Democrats are becoming
Republicans.

That's absurd.

  1. This isn't the first time a Democratic candidate has been fundraising from corporate donors.
  2. The primaries aren't favoring anyone Clinton is just campaigning better and sometimes the better campaign wins. Back in 2008 she got beaten by Obama and her supporters then were accusing Democrats of abandoning their voters because THEY thought the primaries were favoring him.
Get the facts first before being indoctrinated with rhetoric.

Especially, with young progressives :francis: The Democratic Party is moving far right and they are even trying to screw Bernie. Peeps used to say that Republicans were for the rich (not true) when the Democrats are the same coin. Hell, they wouldn't even let Lessig debate :snoop::mjcry: Sure he would have been pressed to move left on certain issues. Atleast he went to Ferguson. If 2020 or 2024 comes I wonder what the candidates would look like :patrice: Or would it still be corrupt:patrice: We have to get money out of politics on both sides.
The democrats were never that progressive.

And Lessig was on some dumb shyt.

I'm kind of on the fence here. On one hand Trump beating Clinton would put a nail in the coffin of the encroaching neoliberalism/corporatism of the past 25 years or so in the Democratic party. On the other Hillary winning and being a (progressive) warhawk and continuing the financial protocol of the past 30 years and the subsequent recession that is/will be coming will get blamed on "liberal" tax & spend policy. That scenario is easily plausible and would set back any progressive movement on the national level for a long time. It's not as cut & dry as you're making it out to be. Hillary is a terrible choice from a progressive's perspective

also your comparison between Nader and Sanders and their accompanying era's is simply ludicrous

Too short sighted. They're worried about the now and hoping that Millenials change their outlook in 10 years.

Problem is they won't.
That's a good calculation, but only of Bernie starts being wiped out and the movement ends. As said earlier, there's a good chance we lose the younger White idealist college student or Starbuck's service industry worker and older hippie Deadhead/Phisher wannabes with the first White woman being elected.

If Bernie keeps it close enough to be an actual movement, I'd hold more hope, but not too much more unless a 3rd party is formed from this.
