social networking is only a problem when people are on it all day long and it interferes with their ability to meet and greet with the outside world. I think that's what parents should be looking out for with their youngins because these kids are growing up to become socially awkward.

With that said, I don't quite understand the hate. Log in, nothing goin on, logout, keep it movin.

what exactly is there to add to social networking that facebook doesn't have or isn't working on? for a while video chat seemed like the thing.. but they took care of that too


i'm thinking that while fb could fall, the competitor would need to have new features that fb doesn't have. what could that be?

I used to stay on there, now I despise it. If it weren't for random fitness groups stuff and fishing info,I wouldn't even log in. Peoples whining, philosophical quotes and biblical scriptures are annoying as hell. Especially when you know them and they are full of shyt. Whores but playing like they are wholesome. Women saying they love their family, posting pics of kids and husband but they dont know that I know she cheated on him with one of my friends.

It's one of the few sites that get progressively worse over time and yet people flock. It's kind of like new installations of call of duty. People get it because everyone else has it. When they 'updated chat' that was terrible. Now they got this timeline junk on there.

What's the point in deactivating the shyt though? What's the pros and cons to doing that?

I get on there to use the chat mostly. Just to catch up with friends that I wouldn't normally text or my fam who I haven't talked to in a while.
