The last time I go into it with you your entire premise centered on denying that political philosophies have coherent definitions because those definitions didn't fit your narrative.

You can easily look up the average time spent by Americans on social media platforms and compare that against the average time spent reading, and draw your own conclusions. Or you can look at the amount of money and energy spent on social media electioneering, and decide for yourself why they might be doing that.

LMGTFY

Or, you can deny all of that because it doesn't fit your 2016 election narrative.
Don't both sides use social media electioneering? If only the Rs did and it was so instrumental in swaying the election who is really uh not smart? :patrice:

Yes, both sides do it. My point is not a partisan one - which is why you cant wrap your head around it.
Both sides do it as a reaction to the popularity of social media and the power it has in shaping American's political views. That was my original point that you contested, challenged me to provide evidence (which I did), and now you're moving the goal posts to a "both sides" debate. I hope, for your sake, that you're trolling. If not, you're exactly the kind of idiot that I was referencing in my first post.

Regardless, the point it that American's lazy approach to being "political" make us vulnerable to the influence of foreign actors because of the ease with which the internet narrative can be manipulated.

If only Americans weren't so damn gullible and lazy as to let tweets and Facebook posts verify or justify their world view.

Fixed.

Anyway, I'm still :mindblown: that folks are surprised by this. Instead of creating websites folks just create social media accounts to get that revenue. The native american page though:heh::russ:, folks are slimy as fukk.

Anyway, the biggest issue/problem is now internet based companies are now using algorithms to basically tailor your media feed based on your history, which encourages people to be less objective and more "my side" oriented.

You did not provide evidence just conjecture. If both sides do it how is the conclusion only the Russian ''foreign actors" swayed our election? That makes no sense.
And then you devolve to name calling but want to be taken seriously? :hhh:

The news in mainstream media is overwhelmingly about Russian involvement in our elections. Did Mueller indict people or companies from other countries besides Russia or nah?

Russia is not mentioned once in this thread until post #13, and then yours.
The OP isn't even about pro-Republican bots. The opposite, actually.
We're done here.

Wow. The title of the thread is about 'Pro-Trump facebook pages' run from foreign nations. :gucci:
If many Pro-Trump Facebook groups are from varying countries why did only Russian organizations/people get indicted?

Dude has spent significant time in Russia and eastern Europe over th past 20 years.
His thoughts on the internet and politics.
