Like many women of her ilk I know she's a blackbelt at the angles it takes for her to not look fat so I'll hold off any real judgment

She has horrible knees. If anything, the weight loss will help alleviate the stress on them. She knows that clock is winding down and weight loss/getting in shape gives the impression that she's taking it serious. She won't make it past March/April if she doesn't find something in developmental. She needs a new character. Better off leaning into a Sonya Blade or femme fatale persona instead of a mink coat wearing, black belt feline gypsy.
