He shyt on Robert Townsend hard in this interview too. Called him the scariest nikka in Hollywood. I saw him once at this free taping for some BET comedy shyt they were filming at Long Beach State. shyt was mad empty in there. Only thing I remember from dude was he was shytting on Cube something awful for his directing skills in Players Club. nikka was like fukk Ice Cube, tell him I said that.

Chappelle is a great comic actor and master storyteller, but he has always been Crossover Negro Dave.
His co-partner for the Comedy Central Show was Neal Brennan.
Wife and mother of his kids.
His roles in Men In Tights and Half Baked built his white fanbase early in his career.

All of his comedy specials flopped except Killing Them Softly (before CS). And Killing Them Softly didn't pick up steam until way later. His best skits on Chappelle Show were written by Neal Brennan and Charlie Murphy.
Yeah, 99% of his content flopped. For What It's Worth was mediocre but controversy made people like it. His last specials were mediocre except for Bird Revelation and Equanimity.
Half Baked and Robin Hood are classics. And lol at just straight up discounting any input Dave had on his own show. So any skit that had a co-writer off top you discounting Dave even though neither of the other two writers have accomplished anything without Dave. Charlie Murphy went on to be boo'd at standups all around the country Bruh.
Folks love to drop Neal's name like they know exactly which jokes he wrote and what Dave was doing at that time.

I just said Robin Hood was solid nikka. Just because we both liked it don't mean it was a hit. By consensus it was a flop. So was half baked even though you liked it.
nikka, Charlie Murphy's shyt was ALL HIM. Those were his REAL STORIES. How the fukk could Dave have ANY input on a REAL STORY that happened to Charlie Murphy? Charlie Murphy wrote that and his blood brother confirmed it. No one said Charlie Murphy is a better comedian than Dave just that Dave's best shyt was written by Charlie which is facts. Neal Brennan co-wrote his other classic shyt. And you're wrong Neal Breannan has VERY accomplished. He's an industry Jew, fukk you mean? He's the reason you even know who Dave is. He plugged him in and co-wrote Half Baked.
There were 2 Charlie Murphy stories, 2. So how did Charlie write all of Dave's best material when there were only 2 of those stories? And lets be real the one that was a breakout hit was the one with Rick James. The one with Prince was aight, and it was more noted for confirming Prince can actually ball. And its not like he actually sat down and wrote that shyt for a skit. They were all sitting around eating lunch one day and Charlie told the Rick James story, Dave and Neal found it hilarious so they decided it needed to be on the show. Thats not some act of comedic genius, thats a dude telling a true story that happens to be funny as hell.
You giving Neal and Charlie ALL the credit for Dave's show would be like me giving Paul Mooney all the credit for Richard Pryor's show and stand up and giving him all the credit for Sanford and Son and Good Times. Check his credentials bruh. LOL at when questioning what Neal has done without Dave your answer is "he Jewish". The guy that supposedly wrote the best material for one of the hottest shows in recent history and a superstar comedian has no claim to fame since Chappelle's show other than being "a jew".

Actually I explained Neal already. He's an INDUSTRY Jew. He's the one that plugged Dave into Half Baked. You think Dave Chappelle magically was able to co-write and put out a movie? Use your common sense. He's done way more than help on the Chappelle Show.
It flopped because the consensus would say it was a bad movie. Me and you are the exception, not the rule. That same logic applies by you saying Half Baked was a hit because you liked it. It CLEARLY was NOT a hit. Most people who saw it thought it was mediocre, including me. Robin Hood was solid, but again, most people who saw it thought it was mediocre. It was a flop by all measures, us liking it doesn't change that.

I get where Faizon is coming from. Literally, the best parts of the Chapelle Show were centered around Charlie Murphy & Paul Mooney scenes.
