majority of non fiba immigrants were already nurses in their home countries but when they come here their training is not recognized by the depart of health so they would have to do school all over again and thats time consuming considering they came here and overstayed their VISAS. Now they are here illegally and can't really get a real job so they gotta look for jobs off the books and other ways to bypass the system hence fake nursing degrees.

If this country was even half way smart they would recruit the non fiba to boost their nursing shortage in this country.. They can confirm they prior nursing certification from their countries and have them here on a work visa which will allow them to pay taxes and study to certifiy them here.

Nah they need competent nurses who can pass the requirements. Nursing school is tough and it should be.

I see America as being almost modeled in a caste system. They are trying to present themselves as distinct so as not to associate themselves with "other blacks" even though the white supermacist system basically views blacks as all the same.

A way to boost the numbers is for the U.S Gov to recruit medical staff from other countries and bring them here on work VISAS, verify their medical certificates from there home countries. While they are here they would have to recertify and get their medical certificates and in doing so while they study to rectify they can work at hospitals on a limited capacity in support positions. That incentivize them to complete their training.

If immigrants get these degrees and certifications fairly it's all good though.
